My Story
The youngest daughter of Iranian immigrant parents, I was raised to value hard work and honor my spirit of service. I began volunteering as young as I can remember. I found myself far more interested in helping those in need than doing anything else. Aside from that, I spent a great deal of time supporting my friends. My mom use to jokingly say “you aren’t a therapist”.
After studying Literary Journalism in college, managing a few different law firms and spending my time increasing both clientele and revenue for a variety of different businesses. I felt something was missing and I began to wonder what it could be…
In 2013, I hid cash under my clothes and snuck into Syria to purchase and distribute aid by hand. There, I met, taught English to and played with Syrian refugee children who inspired me to start my own not-for-profit, For The Unseen. Even in the midst of war, despair, extreme poverty, and loss, they shined with purity, love, and resilience. It was a life changing experience.
In all aspects of my professional career, I love supporting those in need by empowering, guiding and providing sustainable solutions. I use years of personal experience, a deep understanding of the power of your intuitive voice. Lastly, I believe that every single human being has the capacity to accomplish anything they want and sometimes all you need is a gentle nudge.
